Mizuno
Mizuno is a Japanese sports equipment and apparel maker with over a century of history and a wide range of athletic gear and professional endorsement. Founded in Osaka in 1906 by brothers Rihachi and Rizo Mizuno, the company started out as a shop selling Western sports goods. A few years later, Mizuno began manufacturing their own sportswear and gear, and by 1961 had established a factory in Los Angeles. With this international growth, Mizuno was able to hire athlete ambassadors from around the world. Now with additional factories across Europe and Asia, Mizuno continues to manufacture apparel using Japanese production techniques and values high functionality technologies. Collaborations with Margaret Howell, GCDS, Hajime Sorayama, and DOE have brought attention to Mizuno from the streetwear scene.
