PUMA, the creative designer of the new line by American rapper A$AP ROCKY, who is also known as a global fashion icon, is releasing a collection that combines elements of motorsports and street fashion at the same time the Miami Grand Prix will be held at the Harajuku store from May 4 to commemorate the release. NUBIAN is the only store in Japan to carry this rare collection. The most notable sneaker is an updated version of the PUMA INHALE, which was originally created as a running shoe in 2000. The Inhail has established itself as a streetwear staple with its distinctive silhouette. The original silhouette is retained, but with a design inspired by breathing techniques to maximize performance, and the insole has been specially designed for the collaboration.
The apparel lineup includes a slim-fit set-up with a clean silhouette that mimics the fit of a racing suit, a boxy-fit T-shirt with graphics that resemble a driver's six-point seatbelt, two balaclavas inspired by the gear worn by F1 racers, and a pair of gloves, gloves, inspired by the gear worn by Formula 1 racers. The high-spec items combine functional details unique to motorsports with designs that show a sense of attention to detail, such as the custom PUMA graphics and the A$AP ROCKY signature incorporated into the design.
