Japanese illustrator and manga artist Jun Inagawa collaborates with streetwear brands to make clothing featuring his Akihabara and otaku culture-inspired artwork. During his teenage years, Inagawa lived in San Diego, exposing him to skate culture. After posting pictures he drew on Instagram of Supreme’s skate crew, Inagawa was contacted by several prominent celebrities like Na-Kel Smith, Sean Pablo, and members of A$AP Mob. Inagawa has gone on to collaborate with major streetwear brands like Neighborhood, Billionaire Boys Club, and Vlone. Often featuring a “magical girl” that possesses human-like traits and flaws, Inagawa has said he enjoys drawing the character which is often portrayed as the protagonist as the antagonist.
