New York based designer Andreas Aresti launched his first womenswear collection in 2020, naming his brand after his mother. Inspired from growing up in Queens as a first-generation immigrant from Peru, Aresti learned how to hand make garments out of existing clothes and applied this knowledge to Lourdes’ lineups. A chic miniskirt made out of an upside-down tank top, a mini dress made out of a jacket, and jeans with pockets along the entire pant leg are just a few examples of Aresti’s masterful reconstruction works.
