Necessity Sense
Necessity Sense was launched in 2015 by three brothers from Taiwan aiming to convey their unique perspective on cultural issues through their brand and clothing. Their “Modern Day Propaganda” showcases a new social topic each season with lineups inspired by their Taiwanese Buddhist upbringing, Japanese education, and times spent in the US. Nostalgic references, bright graphics and neutral colors, and mixing traditional East Asian silhouettes and modern Western accents are some key designs which exhibit the cultural diversity of the brand.
