French designer Yohan Serfaty launched his brand during Fall Winter 2012 using dark neutral colors with avant-garde silhouettes and leather accents. Shortly after the designer passed away in 2013, and Belgian designer and Royal Academy of Fine Arts graduate Glenn Martens was appointed to be the creative director. Each season Martens adjusted the collection’s style and from 2016 Y/Project came into how we know the brand today: genderless style with abstract silhouettes, with streetwear and avant-garde coming together in a wide color range.
