Salomon is a sports equipment and apparel manufacturing company originating from the French Alps. Founder François Salomon started his workshop in 1947 where he created metal edges for skis, eventually moving into creating shoes for winter sports, then creating hiking shoes for the summer. Now the company continues testing new sports equipment and apparel technology to apply to their newest lineups. With collaborations like The Broken Arm, Palace, and Comme des Garcons, Salomon has entered into the fashion world and is loved by a wide range of subcultures.
