The brand "SWAMPGOD" was founded in 2020 by Arturo Boem, a graffiti designer living in Venice, Italy. Originally upcycling basic workwear into pants and jackets, he caught the attention of Rick Owens, who suggested upcycling items from Rick Owens' past collections. This is when the collaboration between the two artists begun. The collaboration with Rick Owens ended after 19 capsule collections, but the partnership with Owenscorp continues.
