Oldest luxury fashion house Loewe was first established in 1846 as a leather workshop in Madrid, Spain. Collections now consist of leather goods, a ready-to-wear lineup, accessories, and perfume. Initially gaining popularity through Spanish royalty, the brand went on to recruit world renowned designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Giorgio Armani, and Laura Biagiotti. Bought by LVMH in 1996, Loewe continued to expand globally and be featured on runway. In 2013 Jonathan Anderson was appointed to be creative director, and Loewe has continued to produce collections of uniquely designed leather bags and clothing lines with Anderson’s playful themes.
