AKME US is a luxury footwear brand based in Los Angeles. Founded by designer Jesus Diaz and Riko Uchida Diaz, a graduate of Central Saint Martins, the brand develops a unique worldview that spans art, workwear, and technical design. AKME US focuses on small-batch production and local manufacturing, characterized by hand-stitched details and substantial silhouettes created by artisans. The collections possess a narrative quality, akin to an "album," exploring themes of identity and survival in modern society, and pursuing expression that transcends the boundaries of fashion. The brand is gaining attention as a next-generation experimental shoe brand that fuses practicality and artistry.
