Founded in 2021 by designer Hung La, LU'U DAN is a brand that fuses luxury fashion and street culture. Rooted in the diverse facets of Asian identity and contemporary expression, Hung La was born as the first generation of Vietnamese immigrants to the United States and studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, where he began his career in fashion design. As the son of Vietnamese immigrants raised in the United States, Hung La was heavily influenced by 1990s street culture and the iconic brands of the time, and these elements form an important foundation for LU'U DAN's designs.
