MARINA YEE

Marina Yee is a fashion designer born in Antwerp, Belgium in 1958. She graduated from the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 1981 and is known as a member of the Antwerp Six. She specializes in minimalist, deconstructed designs, placing emphasis on delicate details such as draping, origami-like patterns, and hand embroidery. She focuses on remaking vintage clothing and utilizing sustainable materials, and is known for her designs that combine comfort and beauty. She also designs for theatrical costumes and brands, and is constantly exploring the possibilities of materials and shapes.
