PROTOtypes

I worked with the DEMNA brothers for about five years in the early stages. "PROTOtypes" is a brand launched in 2021 by Laura Beham and Callum Pidgeon, who were involved in the VETEMENTS design team. In 2023S/S, the brand presented its first runway show at Paris Fashion Week. Rather than producing new clothing, the brand focuses on upcycling and reuse strategies, and has developed three lines woven with the concepts of Second Life Line/Proto Packs/Proto Prints. The main line uses deadstock clothing and fabrics to promote the production of sustainable wearable clothing.
