Song for the Mute

"Song for the Mute" is an Australian brand founded in 2010 by Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty. The two designers, who aim for material-oriented design, are also involved in the development of fabrics in collaboration with small craft factories in Italy and Japan. Combining the unique beauty of both the West and the East, the brand expresses its own unique modern outlook by fusing a deconstructed sensibility with traditional menswear forms.
