The Isle of Man is a masculine tribute to those who dare to smile in the face of death, to those who are brave and true to their beliefs. This parfum celebrates the free spirit, the thrill-seeking men who know that to truly live is to push the limits. We are never more alive than when life is at stake. The Orchid Man, a pre-Isle of Man Frapin creation, was an ode not only to boxing, but to the fighting spirit. Likewise, the Isle of Man is not merely inspired by the TT race. There is a raw philosophy here. There is a philosophy of life, of surviving with strength, of seeing each moment as the last. To live with intensity, to see each moment as your last, even if it puts you on the edge of life and death. Above all, life should not be boring. David Frossard, himself a motorcycle and boxing enthusiast, asked perfumer Alienor Massenet to interpret this spirit. Her creation has a true fragrance style. The citrus is vibrant in the top notes, giving way to a combination of salty and floral notes that evoke the sweltering adrenaline rush of descending down the oceanic wave-lapped shore.
