Owner of Los Angeles select shop 424 on Fairfax, Guillermo Andrade launched his brand 424 focusing on sociopolitical issues through fashion and art. Growing up in California as an undocumented immigrant from Guatemala, Andrade always found creative ways to dress up despite having little money. Apart from bringing attention to police brutality, blue-collar workers in America, and other concerns in the US, Andrade strives to make every lineup affordable. Using different techniques like hand dipping shoes in rubber, hand bleaching garments, and reworking archived pieces, 424 has additionally collaborated with other select shops and brands from around the world.
