"FLOWER IN THE ASHES" is a fragrance brand reborn with a new name, previously operating as "CGS." It allows customers to experience Cho Gi-Seok's artistry, built across various fields such as fashion, photography, and video, through the new medium of scent.
The brand expresses symbolic motifs that repeatedly appear in his works, such as flowers, butterflies, angels, and demons, through fragrance and sculptural bottle designs. With "coexistence" – where conflicting existences and emotions coexist – as its theme, the brand translates memories, dreams, love and hate, and the anxiety and transience hidden within beauty, not only into visual but also olfactory experiences.
This pop-up will feature the "FLOWER IN THE ASHES" fragrance collection, along with a Japan-exclusive collaborative fragrance with NUBIAN to commemorate the event.
This collaboration interprets the universal yet complex emotion of "love" through the unique perspective of "FLOWER IN THE ASHES." It expresses the conflicting emotions of beauty and pain, purity and desire, hope and anxiety that coexist within love, as a special fragrance.
