Glass Cypress is a Houston-based brand founded in 2016 by brothers Saber Ahmed and Samee Ahmed. They develop products that incorporate traditional craftsmanship such as dyeing, quilting, and tailoring into modern wear. They fuse the two brothers' different styles to express a unique worldview that is innovative and universal. Their signature hand-embroidered designs are the centerpiece of their unique worldview, which combines ethnic techniques with modern art. The company also has an aspect of building a partnership with local people through its charitable activities, partnering with BRAC (Bangladesh Rehabilitation Assistance Committee), one of the world's largest non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and donating a portion of its sales to the organization.
