UNDERCOVER
In 1990, designer Jun Takahashi founded the brand "UNDERCOVER" while studying apparel design at Bunka Fashion College. The brand combines various elements of street fashion, art, music, subculture, and more into high-end fashion, and develops collections with a unique worldview that the designer himself describes as "something between street and mode." Founder Jun Takahashi is also famous for opening "NOWHERE" in the backstreets of Harajuku with "NIGO" of "A BATHING APE" in 1993, and for launching "AFFA" with Hiroshi Fujiwara in the same year. In addition, the cult popularity of the Ura-Hara style, which became popular from the 1990s to the 2000s, and the limited production made it difficult to obtain, and the collections that became premium are still traded at high prices worldwide as archives. In 2021, "Undercoverism" will be introduced as a new men's line. This is separate from the previously integrated men's line "UNDERCOVERISM."
