Color Space, a Houston-based brand created by creative director J. Rich, is making its Japan debut. To celebrate the launch, a pop-up store will be held at the Harajuku store from Friday, November 7th. A launch party will also be held on the same day from 7pm.
J. Rich is known for his visual direction for Travis Scott, who will be performing in Japan for the first time, and as the general manager of Space Village, a concept store founded by Travis Scott and DJ Chase B in Houston.
Originally from Houston, he studied design at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, where he was exposed to global design sensibilities, but always kept his local roots at the heart of his own creations. The fusion of the power of Texas storytelling and the sophisticated design sensibility he developed at FIT is the origin of Color Space.
The brand's theme is to connect "childlike curiosity" with "real-life experiences." Inspired by Houston's rodeo culture, the brand's designs capture the moment when nostalgia and modern sensibilities intersect.
This time, NUBIAN is offering exclusive items featuring graphics drawn by J. Rich himself, as well as apparel and beanies featuring the Color Space signature logo in rhinestones and embroidery. Through the infinite "color space," we hope to expand the imagination that lies within everyone's hearts into the real world.
The product lineup will be released at a later date. Please look forward to it.
