Tokyo-based brand Ambush debuted in 2008 by Korean-American designer YOON, and her husband, hip hop artist, producer, and member of M-Flo and Teriyaki Boyz, Verbal. Starting as a jewelry brand, their unique pop-art inspired pendants were incredibly successful during Ambush’s earlier years. Since 2018 the brand has additionally created a ready-to-wear lineup of avant-garde streetwear which has found equal popularity. Over the years Ambush has collaborated with brands like Louis Vuitton, Off-White, Sacai, and Converse, and YOON was appointed to be Dior Homme’s jewelry designer.
