Children of the Discordance T-shirts

Japanese designer Hideaki Shikama debuted his brand Children of the Discordance in 2011 where he expresses his interests in traditional and non-traditional clothing from around the world. The name is derived from the designer’s backbone of youth culture (hence the use of “Children”) and reconstructed vintage wear (“Discordance”). The brand’s lineups are influenced by streetwear, skating culture, and hip-hop, and has collaborated with companies like Nike and Stussy. Materials are often upcycled and repurposed clothing and fabrics, making many of the pieces sustainable and one-of-a-kind.
