Y/PROJECT T-shirts
"YOHAN SERFATY" started his own brand in France. In 2010, he changed the brand name to the current "Y/PROJECT" and presented his collection at Paris Fashion Week in the fall/winter season of 2012. Yohan's collection was characterized by the use of leather as a material, and featured high-quality clothing in neutral colors. The cutting was also distinctive, giving it an avant-garde impression. However, shortly after his breakthrough, Yohan passed away from cancer in 2013. Glenn Martens was appointed as his successor designer. Glenn was born in Bruges in the northwest of Belgium, and after studying architecture, he graduated at the top of his class from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. In the middle of his final year, he received an offer from Jean Paul Gaultier and moved to Paris to gain experience. Since then, he has participated in projects with European brands such as "WEEKDAY" and "HONEST BY BRUNO PIETERS". He was also nominated for the 2017 "LVMH YOUNG FASHION DESIGNER PRIZE". His collections are inspired by the city, and he creates them by observing what people on the subway and in the city are wearing. He specializes in mysterious moods, genderless styles, and unique materials, and has attracted fans with his original designs.
